What is a meal delivery service?
A Meal Delivery Service offers freshly cooked, individually portioned meals packaged for consumers, delivered directly to their homes or offices on a regular basis.
Thyme Bandit Delivery Service Specifics:
For the trial run, we have plan options for 4, 6, or 8 servings per week (for more info see Plans and Pricing below). Each week we will send out a link for you to choose your meals for the week. Each week we will offer a number of delicious menu options, including several vegetarian options (see Sample Menu below).
Delivery Windows: For the trial run, the windows will be either 3-5pm or 6-8pm on Tuesdays.
Meal Choices: On Fridays after you have received your scrumptious meals, we'll send a link to choose the next week's meals. You will be prompted to respond by 5pm on Sunday or you will receive "Chef's Choice" meals according to the dietary preferences listed in your account.
Delivery Zones: Currently we can offer delivery anywhere in Center City from Washington Ave to Girard Ave, and from the Delaware River to the Schuylkill River. If your home does not fall within our delivery zone, we are happy to deliver to your office or to the home of a friend.
Dietary Preferences and Allergies: When you sign up, you can provide us with your dietary preferences and allergies. We will make sure to mark any menu items that could cause an allergy issue, and will do our best to provide several options for vegetarian and gluten free menu items.

Local, Organic Produce Make for Delicious, Nutritious Meals
We will be sourcing produce as much as possible from local urban farms here in Philly (we'll be sure to highlight which dishes will include these freshly harvested treats!) so you are not just helping out a family-owned Philly meal service, but also helping out the farms and lowering fuel emissions from bringing in produce from far away.
Plans and Pricing
For the trial run, we will have 3 options for meal plans. Each plan has a certain number of servings, which are designed for a single adult dinner. This means that a 4-Serving Plan could either feed 1 person for 4 nights or 2 people for 2 nights. We will also be offering Kid Plans, which will be 1/2 sized servings. These can only be purchased as an add on to one of our adult plans. As part of the trial run, we will be testing out several Kid-Friendly Meals, but we cannot guarantee that your kid will eat them, so if you have a seriously picky eater, it might be best to wait for these meals to be tested and approved by other kids first.
